ICSO Mobile Apps

VineMobile-MobilePatrolOn May 15, 2013 Imperial County Sheriff Raymond Loera announced the release of two new mobile applications that will better serve the people of Imperial County.

The Imperial County Sheriff’s Office (ICSO) has teamed up with Appriss Inc. to offer the VINEMobile and MobilePatrol applications free to anyone with an Apple iOS or Android powered phone or tablet.

The new VINEMobile application is an extension of VINE (Victim Information Notification Everyday).  This technology allows people who have been a victim of crime to electronically check on the custody status of their offender.   A person must first register to be notified about any changes in an offender’s custody status by phone or email simply by accessing VINE on their smartphone or tablet.

“With the use of this technology, people can have vital information at their fingertips,” said Imperial County Sheriff Raymond Loera. “VINE gives victim’s easy access to offender custody status information and helps provide the peace of mind they need, no matter where they are.”

The second available app is MobilePatrol, which gives contact numbers for the Sheriff’s Office headquarters, and substation locations with maps.  Also, it will soon feature a list of wanted persons and other vital information important to the public.

Together, the VINEMobile and the MobilePatrol mobile applications are powerful new additions to the ICSO’s use of technology to serve the people of Imperial County, which is consistent with its overall mission, “Committed to professional service and protection!”
